The Netherlands is a countryside that is part of the Kingdom of the Netherlands. It is a parliamentary democratic constitutional monarchy. The Netherlands is located in Northwestern Europe, and deckled by the North Sea to the north and west, Germany to the east and, Belgium to the south. Amsterdam is the capital and the government is The Hague.
The Netherlands commonly called Holland, which is officially improper. North and South Holland are simply two of its twelve provinces. The word Dutch is used to bring up to the people, the language, and anything belongs to the Netherlands.
The Netherlands is a geographically low-lying country, with about 27% of its area and 60% of its population located below sea level. Consequential areas have been increased through land reclamation and protected through an elaborate system of polders and dikes. Much of the Netherlands is defined by the body of the water of three important European rivers, which together with their distributaries form the Rhine-Meuse-Scheldt delta. Most of the countryside is horizontal, with the discharge mounds of the Ardennes in the far south–east and individual low-hill ranges in the central parts created by ice-age glaciers.
Population
The Netherlands have an calculable population of 16,491,852 (as of 8 March 2009).[25] It is the 11th most populated country in Europe and the 61st most populated country in the world. Concerns 1900 and 1950, the country's population had almost cloned from 5.1 to 10.0 million people. From 1950 to 2000, the population more increased from 10.0 to 15.9 million people, but the population growth decreased related to the previous fifty years.
